is it possible to use the analog output of a USB-6212 as the external excitation current, with jumper wires,

for a thermistor or RTD measurement?

Kenneth,

Unless your sensor requires more than the 2 mA the AO line can provide, you should be able to use it. Of course the output is a voltage, not a current, so you will need a fixed resistor and two analog input channels to make the resistance measurement.
