Lab 10 - Optical Theremin: Modulating an audio input signal

I'm looking to expand upon the optical theremin lab by inserting an audio file into labview and then adjusting its volume and pitch via the photodiodes.

Any direction towards relevant subVIs or functions would be huge help.
