Hi,
I'm looking for a portable (ideally USB) DAQ for audio tests. Minimal requirements are :
- 2 audio inputs (4 would be nice), 16 bits, 50 kHz sampling rate, simultaneous sampling, at least +/- 2 V range, with anti-aliasing filters
- 2 audio outputs, 12 bits, 50 kHz sampling rate, simultaneous sampling, at +/- 2 V range, with reconstruction filters
- With LabVIEW drivers
In the end, it's more or less a USB soundcard with real electrical levels (and without windows volume control).
So far, I've not found anything matching my requirements, at least at NI. Does anyone know if such a DAQ exists ?
Otherwise, I will probably use a CompactDAQ system with external anti-aliasing and reconstruction filters.
Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
as far as I know, NI doesn't offer a special measurement device for audio test which fits directly into your application. The NI Audio Master is a special product for audio quality test, but is is maybe a little overpowered for your application.
You could also use a cDAQ-Chassis with C-Series moduls. NI offers the NI 9233/9234 modul, which is for dynamic signal acquisition. To output the signals, you could use NI 9215.
The best way to solve your question is, if you directly call NI and ask the people, which hardware they could recommend you.
