Baseline difference across channels

Hi, I have a PCI-6071E card and doing acquisition from 16 channels at 20kHz sampling rate. Recently when I connect the same signal to the 16 channels, I found the baseline is different for some of the channels. For example, if I provide a 0V DC to all 16 channels. Ch0-3 give negative reading, Ch4-7 give zero. Does this mean I need to calibrate the card? It seems to me calibration adjusts the only ADC on the card which will affect all the channels together.

Thanks!

Hello zlyhere,

It sounds like there is some damage to those specific channels. Can you read on the other channels of the device correctly?

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for your answer. For the other channels, some of them can be read correctly, some cannot.

How much of a voltage difference are we talking about?

Hi Aaron,

It's less than 1V if the input range is -10V to 10V, for example, about 200mV.

Moreover, when I use the test panel in MAX to visualize input signals, some channels give a "fatal error" (code -10007).

These channels are 8-15, 24-31, 40-47, 56-63.

Thanks!
