Black device icon and test panel missing in MAX

We have seen that on Windows 7 when installing a USB-9315 device on DAQmx v14.2 it is not correctly recognized in MAX.

The icon is black, and most of the panes are missing, like the Test Panels, Create Task Device Pinouts etc.

We have seen this inhouse, and also heard reports from customers.

The Reset Configuration Data does not help.

What is going on?

Sounds like you just have the DAQmx runtime installed and not the DAQmx configuration support, which adds the additional views and test panels.
