Hello
We're upgrading our PC and replacing an old NI PCI (NI PCI-MIO-16E-4) card with a PCIe-6321. The system is connected to a SCXI-1001 rack with several SCXI modules (thermocouple, ai, ao, di, do), which we're keeping as-is .
The question is :
Do we need te recalibrate anything after switching to the PCIe-6321 ?
Thanks for any advice!

Individually those cards come calibrated (if required) from factory and as per the datasheet, you need to calibrate them regularly (as defined in datasheet) for the cards to meet the datasheet specifications.
On the other hand, PCI-MIO-16E-4 and PCIe-6321 are different cards, hence, their specifications vary.
So, the answer depends on how does switching the card with different specification affect your end-application and whether your usage includes additional calibration of external components to become a integrated system or just rely on the DAQ's datasheet specifications.

Hello GroundControl2NI,
In addition to the complete message of santo_13, usually when proceeding to an installation/changes a self-calibration of the PCIe would be best. I recommend to look at this link to learn more about it and about the external calibration with an example of another PCIe device: Calibration
Have a good day,
