Can I alter the output voltage of a DIO-32 DAQ?

I need to output data from a PCI-DIO-32HS DAQ to a FPGA (inputs require 3.6V max inputs) without using a series resistor.  Is there any way to program the DAQ for this type of output?

Can your FPGA I/O pins be programmed to accept TTL logic levels?

The specs for that card show it only as 5V TTL/CMOS compatible. Suppose you could build a conversion interface using high speed opto-couplers. Maybe an off-the shelf logic level converter chip is available or an open collector driver?

A number of FPGA's have the ability to interface to multiple logic levels (i.e TTL)
