Exactly as the titles says. I want to know if anyone has reliably used a wireless usb connection with a DAQ device to make it more mobile, or if this is even possible. I would prefer something WiFi connected so the range is larger, but a bluetooth solution is ok if a good wifi solution does not exist.

"reliably" is subjective and completely dependent on your application. In short, nope, wireless or any sort of network-based option is not "reliable" in my opinion as it involves some level of retry mechanism to avoid missing packets and losing connection.
NI has a WiFi cDAQ chassis but unfortunately, it is no more orderable.
Please explain more about your application and what "reliable" means to you. In the easiest way, you could have a laptop or an Intel NUC computer connected to your USB cDAQ system which connects over WiFi to whatever other part of automation you've. Whenever the connection is lost, your local computer can cache the data and upload it to the main computer once the connection is restored.
