Can't get USB-6008 to work properly in a stand-alone application

Chris,

By the way, I removed all of the NI software prior to the latest install attempt.  That way I would be starting clean with the new versions.

Steve,

From the research I have done so far, I have seen similar issues where MAX crashes when you expand Devices & Interfaces and the NI-IMAQ driver ended up being the problem. Usually an upgrade and/or reinstall of the IMAQ driver fixed the problem. For our next step, let's try to isolate the problem further and uninstall the NI-IMAQ driver. If this fixes the MAX crashing issue then we know that this driver is the problem. We can reinstall it later if we need to.

Chris,

We had a massive hardware problem develop with the system late last week.  In order to fix it, I needed to build a small version of LabVIEW onto the 4 GB flash.  I put on all of the minimal LabVIEW with DAQmx and IMAQ/Vision to support the code plus do debugging of the VI's that controlled the individual hardware elements.  In this configuration, everything is working fine.  MAX is stable, nothing hangs and all VI's seem to be behaving properly.

Since we need to use this on an experiment this coming weekend, I am not willing to go back to the stand-alone configuration until after the experiment run is over (hopefully within the next 10 days).  At that point, I will be willing to try rebuilding the stand-alone and working through the issues.

Thanks for your assistance.

Steve
