Command is not supported by given protocol NI MAX

A few weeks ago I was able to add/remove software from my cRio-9025. Now whenever I try to do so, I get a pop up message saying "command is not supported by given protocol" with the name of my target and it's IP adress. I've tried reinstalling my drivers on my computer, but it still does not work anymore. I am using Labview version 2019 with compatible FPGA and Real-Time modules as well as the cRio 2019 driver. I've also followed correct installation order. Help!

Hi there!

Make sure the device is on the same subnet as the host computer. For example: If the computer’s IP address is 192.168.1.50 subnet mask 255.255.255.0, then the device’s IP address needs to be 192.168.1.x subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

If you are still having issues, see if it responds to a ping. To do this, open the command prompt and type ping {IP address of device}. Check your ethernet cable, and for any firewalls or switches that are in-between the device and the host computer. You can directly connect the device to the computer to rule out the network. Additionally, you will need to set a static IP for the computer and set a matching subnet mask.

Hope this helps!
