Computer crash with labview and NI6052E-DAQ board

Helo,
Every 2 or 3 day I get a computer crash with labview. The computer freezes and I get a blue screen saying:

*** STOP:0x000000D1 (0x00000000,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xBFF3BFE)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
*** Adress BFF3B6FE base at BFEFD000, Date_Stamp 3c3a60e9 - nipalk.sys
Beginning dump of physical memory.

No other program runs at the same time.
My application is using a buffered counter, one analog output and an rs-232 output.

This error is very annoying because we need to do measurement on a long period of time.

If anyone has experienced the same bug please help me.

What is that nipalk.sys?

Thanks,

Simon.

Hello Simon,
For system crashes when using National Instruments products (if for example they only occur when you are using an NI product or the failing component starts with the letters "ni..."), I would strongly recommend contacting National Instruments Technical Support at http://www.ni.com/ask (choose phone or e-mail NI) as they are best equipped to solve these issues. In your case, this is a known issue. To resolve the issue you may either upgrade the NI-PAL component by contacting NI Technical Support (as mentioned above) or by upgrading to a newer version of NI-DAQ by visiting http://www.ni.com/downloads/ >> "Drivers and Updates" >> "Current Software Versions" >> "Multifunction DAQ" >> "NI-DAQ Version 7.0 for Windows 2000/98/ME/NT/XP".

Sincerely,
