Conflict with NI-DAQmx and Windows touchscreen driver

I have installed NI DAQmx software onto a touchscreen computer to allow for use of NI cDAQ-9171 and NI 9215. When the DAQ is plugged in to the computer (via USB), the touchscreen is disabled upon computer bootup. It's inconsistent and does not happen every time the computer boots up but is still a nuisance. When I uninstalled the NI DAQmx software, the touchscreen never disabled upon bootup. I've narrowed down the issue to be related to NI DAQmx software and believe there is some sort of device conflict with the NI DAQmx driver and my Windows touchscreen driver. 

 

Has anyone else run into this issue? 

 

Any suggestions/modifications to the installation method for NI-DAQmx software to prevent the conflict? 

 

Here is some background about my configuration:

NI DAQmx Version 18.6

NI Hardware: NI cDAQ-9171 and NI 9215 module 

Windows 10 Pro Version 1909, Build 18363.476

Method for installation: automated and customized installation following these basic steps:

1. Choose default directory

2. Select custom install

3. Add .NET Framework 4.0, 4.5, 4.51, ANSI C Support

4. Follow prompts to let NI wizard install

I am installing the NI DAQmx software using the files here:
