Connector block PCI 6024E Interface V1

Dear NI,

I recently purchased on E-Bay a multilayer PCB board that appears to be a NI connector block possilbly for a PCI 6024E.  The board is labeled "PCI 6024E-Interface-V1" and dated 30/09/99.  It measures 175 mm by 100 mm with a 68 pin male connector in the middle and places on the board to attach 34 resistors, 5 transistors, 3 Diodes, 3 LED's, 17 capacitors and 3 IC's.  The board has 18 screw connectors labeled ACHO-15 with associated grounds on the right side.   The PCB board also has 8 screw connectors along the top labeled DAC01, DAC10, AOGND, Open, C1-Source, C0-Source and DGND and soder connections for DI0-7 along the side.  I assume this device can be connected to a PCI 6024E; however, I would like to connect it to a PCI-6035E instead (which appears to have a similar pin-out arrangement).  I would be using the device to measure temperature with thermocouples and turn on a series of electrical heaters to maintain temperature of a reactor.  In another application I plan to monitor both strain gage and a tri-axis accelerometer at relatively high speeds (event occurs in less than a millisecond).  I am unable to find information on how to use this connector block on www.NI.com .  Could you point the way so I may have a better understanding of the utility of this device.

I was unable to find any information on a “PCI 6024E-Interface-V1.”  Based on your description, I am wondering if you have an analog signal conditioning accessory

Look through the different accessories (such as the SC-2040, 2042, etc…) and see if we can find a match.  

If you can’t find a good match, could you post a screenshot of the connector block?  If you can find a serial number, that would make it easy for me to look up the connector in our internal resources.

I imagine that you should be able to use the connector block with the PCI-6035e. Generally, the accessories work for a family of different cards.

NI boards should have a part number and serial number. There should also be an NI logo, I believe. It wouldn't surprise me if what you bought was a custom board someone designed and built for some special project. When you bought it on ebay, did the seller provide any description or say where it came from? If no one from NI recognizes it, you should try to create the schematic and see if it would be useful.

The connector block shown in the picture was not made by NI.  It's only association with NI was that it appears to have been made by another company as an interface for the 6024e. Dennis is correct in saying that equipment made by NI will have a serial number, part number, and in most cases the NI logo is printed directly on connector block.  Good luck trying to track down who made the board.
