D/A output

Hello,
We're using a National Instruments BNC-2090 board,
serial number A40CE9, and want to know the range of
possible voltages for a D/A signal.

Greetings,

The BNC-2090 is a connector block for the interfacing of a DAQ device to signals, other devices, etc. Most likely, you are using your BNC-2090 with an E-Series DAQ board. In this case, you have two available output ranges: +/-10V (bipolar) and 0-10V (unipolar). If you desire a different output range, you must supply an external reference. Below is a link to a document that discusses this option:

Outputting a Voltage Using an External Voltage Reference

Good luck with your application.
