Okay, I think 1k or 2kohm of resistor will do. So the analog signal will be able to manipulate the amount of current flowing into the bulb right.

But how about the ground? Is the ground of external supply for the bulb connected with AGND from the card?

Yes.  The grounds need to be connected together.  Makse sure that the lamp current does not try to flow through the 6008.
