Hi,
Do you have a direct or close replacement for the hardware listed below?
5 MS/s, 12-Bit, Simultaneous-Sampling Multifunction DAQ | NI PCI-6110/777475-01 |
2333 kS/s, 16-Bit, 16-Analog-Input Multifunction DAQ | NI PCI-6052E/777745-01 |
Noise Rejecting, Shielded I/O Connector Block | SCB-68/776844-01 |
Shielded Cable, 5 m | SH68-68-EP/184749-05 |
Thanks,

I don't work for NI, just trying to help a bit.
1. The PCI-6110 is still available. Other options here.
2. The PCI-6052E is obsolete. More info here.
Appropriate cabling and connector blocks will also be available, subject to your choice of boards.
That said, I think the data acq boards are old enough that you might be facing an additional issues. (Here, I'm assuming you're looking to either replicate or maintain some older test equipment.)
It's at least conceivable that the software was built around a legacy hardware driver (now sometimes referred to as "traditional NI-DAQ") and would no longer work with it's replacement, DAQmx. Before selecting any replacement boards, platform, etc., it'll be important to know whether you *also* need to support old software built around the old driver. If so, you might have some further constraints.
I expect (but am not totally sure) that the 6110 is supported under the legacy driver. I *know* that it (and a similar upgrade, the 6115) are supported under the DAQmx driver. The obsolete 6052E would once have had support under both driver types, but the recommended replacement products would *NOT* have support under the old driver. It's likely the 6052E, having reached end-of-life, is no longer supported under recent DAQmx versions.
Hope the info helps.

If you're looking for obsolete or legacy NI products that NI doesn't manufacture anymore, then Apex Waves is a great solution! https://www.apexwaves.com/

Hi Kevin,
Yes, this is very helpful. You are right this is for an older station with older software LV 6.1 but it is long over due for an upgrade so i will be considering using something that would require a software update.
Thanks for the information.

Hi Nichole,
Excellent recommendation. We have many stations that may have older and non support equipment. I will be exploring this.
Thanks,
Rick
