Hello.
I am currently running a two analog input system and taking data over the course of an event. This event happens in the span of approximately 4 ms. Even though I set my sample rate to something above 1 kS/s, the output in Labview always shows each voltage spike occuring over 1 ms.
Does anyone know how to change these settings in Labview Express? Or could this be a sensor/DAQ issue?

Hello DanFisher,
What is the harwdare in use, have you checked the behavior of the signal in the MAX(Measurement and Automation Explorer) test panels? Is my understanding correctly if I say that you are seeing the spikes even though they are actually not happening?

I am using 2 OMRON photoelectric sensor. They output a DC votage of approx. 1.4 V when idle and 6 V when triggered. No matter what sample rate I set the DAQ to, both the triggered event and the changes in the noise all occur over 1 ms intervals. That is the "slope" of the graph occurs over a 1 ms span. By setting the sampling rate higher, I should be able to see changes every .5 ms, however, this is not the case.
I hope this was a better description of my issue.

Hi DanFisher,
Can you post an screenshot of the acquisition part of your program? That would help clear things up.
