Needd to download current version to new computer

Spoiler
I am in Yemen trying to upgrade to a newer computer. In my old computer I have Nidaq 7.4.4, version 3.1.1  I have a disk to download Nidaq 7.4.4 but it has version 4.2.1. When I try to check my channels by clicking on data neighborhood I get the following message- There was a problem connection to the data base. Is this because I have installed version 4.2.1 instead of 3.1.1? If so can I get a copy of 3.1.1 to install?

Hello Philstandridge,

Thanks for posting at NI forums! I’ve seen this issue before and it has nothing to do with the drivers itself. Just remember that everything you install should be compatible with your operating system. Please take a look at KB Why Do I Get a Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) Database Connection Error? and follow the recommendations given there. If you also have the NOD32 Anti-Virus software take a look as well to KB Why Do I Get MAX Database Connection Error When Using NOD32 Anti-Virus Software?

Best Regards,
