DAQ Solution for thermocouples, velocity transducer, and flowmeter

I'm trying to find a low cost way to get data from about 20 J-type thermocouples, a velocity transducer with a 0-5V output, and a flowmeter with a pulse output all in Labview. Can anyone recommend what hardware I would need? I just need to the read the data and record it for further analysis. Serial or PCI connections would be fine if that helps to lower the cost.

Take a look at this KnowlegeBase article; it details a number of solutions for thermocouple measurements:  Recommended NI Hardware for Thermocouple Measurements

Since you need 30 thermocouple inputs as well as an additional AI and pulse input I would recommend option 1.  With this you can read all of the thermocouples on the SCXI-1132 and then get a SCXI-1180 to access the rest of the pins on the DAQ card.

This would be the ideal setup, but you can use that KnowlegeBase article to look at other possible solutions that may be lower cost.
