DAQMX WRITE/READ could not be found

I have an application written in LabView 8.6 and wanted to modify it. When I open the project it starts to search for DAQmx write and DAQmx read and couple of other files. I am not sure why it could  not find it. I reinstalled LabView completely chosen all the optiions in it everything is installed now but still no luck.

DAQmx is a hardware driver and is a separate installation. Use your device drivers DVD or download it. Click on the Support link at the top of the page.

I have recently installed DAQmx from drivers DVD. I do not think that it is a problem, unless I have to install old version as the one installed is the latest one. I will try any way.

Also note that the latest DAQmx drivers are not compatible with LabVIEW 8.6.  If you are using the driver set that came with the LabVIEW install, you will be fine.  It looks like DAQmx 9.5.1 is the newest version that will work with LabVIEW 8.6.

Yep, your latest version of DAQmx removed the LabVIEW 8.6 support files.

See here for the DAQmx/LabVIEW compatibility chart.
