I am using a PCIe-6251 to run my data acquisition system. In it, I have my card's counter fire a 1 kHz pulse train to trigger external electronics that return a two-edge separation time measurement, two analog inputs, and a digital input sharing the analog inputs' external sample clock. With the analog inputs, it is possible to receive more than one sample clock pulse for each output pulse while the counter input will only ever receive one, so I need to know if it is possible to tell each DAQmx Read to only add the first sample to the allocation buffers for each output pulse.
