DIO Port 2 of a PCI 6229 seems not to work

I am planning to use a PCI-6229 for analog recording and digitally controlling the measurement equipment (electrophysiological recordings). It seems that the digital Port 2 of the device is not working (tested with the measurement and automation explorer). When I set Port 2 to Output and all bits on high, I can't measure anything on the output wires while the same procedure works fine for ports 0 and 1 (i.e. 5 V for high bits). Does this mean that port 2 is broken or is there some trick I have overlooked so far?
