Hi,
I'm planning to run one of the following cards on a Windows PDA (CE/PocketPC):
NI DAQCard-6036E (for PCMCIA)
NI CF-6004
and was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to access the cards through low-level drivers for C++ available on both Windows CE/PocketPC and for desktop Windows. My system is written in C++, so I will not be using LabView, VB or VS.NET, just pure C++.
The page
http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/14626
clearly indicate that "they work with a number of industrial handheld devices and touch-panel displays that run Windows CE or PocketPC OSs", but only talks about a "LabVIEW PDA Module" for interfacing.
All I need is a way to specify some parameters, start and stop the sampling, and preferably have the samples DMAed into memory. (And hopefully I can avoid the need for a LabView based middleware on the device, but that _is_ an option I guess.)
Any hints are greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Marius
