Data storage in EDF format

I am Electrical engineering student am working with a Data Adquisition System. I need  to storage data in EDF format.

Someone could help me  about this?

All the information i could find its related to a conversor for this kind of data included in a biomedical toolkit:

This kit contains the following applications:

• File Format Converter (EDF, EDF+, MIT-BIH databases, WFDB databases from physionet.org, etc.)
• Biosignal Logger
• etc
