Hi,
i`m using the SCXI-1327 to aquire the Voltage of 2 signals (using Channel 5 and 6)
Unfortunately i can only record data in the range from -0.5 to 0,5 V
When i try to increase the range on MAX or DAQ Assistant i get the error below:
---------------------------------------------
Error -200077 occurred at DAQ Assistant
Possible Reason(s):
Measurements: Requested value is not a supported value for this property.
Property: AI.Max
You Have Requested: 1.000000
Valid Values Begin with: -500.0e-3
Valid Values End with: 500.0e-3
Channel Name: Voltage
-----------------------------------------------------
I remember that i`ve got Channel 5 working in a bigger range, but i dont know what i`ve done therefor
and now i must have something done to undo this
Does anybody know what to do?
Andy

Hi Andy,
this error could have several reasons.
1st:
take a look at you scaling.
Are you using a custom scaling?
If you are using a custom scaling you have to adjust the AI.Max and AI.Min level of your input !!!
2nd - you can take a look at this:

3rd at this: (nearly the same than you can see in 1st)

Hope this helps

Hi Deppi,
thank you for your response.
Today I tried what you have suggested but without succes.
I'm not using a custom scale, i tried it once but i couldn't see how this could increase my input range.
I tried to set the jumpers to "DA" so that the gain would be 1.
I thought with no gain i should get the maximum available input range?
I used a test signal from -10 to 10V on channel 1 / 4 / 5 and 6.
Now here comes something strange:
Channel 6 worked up to 10 V ( i can not tell if it would work in a higher range ) but the other channel only worked up to 5 V , though they all have the same jumper settings for the gain.
I'm not sure how the attenuation is set on the hardware, because i don't know where to set it, but also without an attenuation it should work in a higher range then +/-5V, right?
Best regards
Andy

Hi Andy,
sorry for the delay - I was on vaction for a few weeks.
That sound all really strange.
Do you still have this problem?
Is it possible to send me an MAX Export (Measurement & Automation Explorer -> file -> export...) ?
I could try to import your settings and see, if there is something strange / wrong.
Best regards

Hi Dippi,
meanwhile i was able to solve the problem.
I reconfigured the gain and attenuation settings on the hardware and in MAX and now it works as expected.
Thank you again for your effort
Best regards
Andy
