Error 9313

When I launch the NI ELVIS, error - 9313 occurred at ELVIS Instrument Launcher. Possible reason(s):

"NI ELVIS: DAQmx is not installed on your machine. Please install DAQmx.

I have checked and I have the latest NI-DAQmx 9.5.5 installed on the PC. Same error happened when I connect to another ELVIS Benchtop. Checked the PCI-6251 with NI MAX and the board is working fine, and there is only one device connected to the PC. 

Please advise the possible reason(s). What I can think of is may be my ELVIS benchtop is too the old type one and it does not work with the latest NI-DAQmx?

It might be too new. According to the NI ELVIS Traditional 3.0.6 README http://download.ni.com/support/softlib//multifunction_daq/nielvis/3.0.6/readme.html it installs DAQmx 9.3.5. Do you have a reason for using 9.5.5? If not try uninstalling and running the 9.3.5 installer or just reinstall the ELVIS Traditional 3.0.6 installer which includes 9.3.5. Let us know how it goes...
