I'm trying to create communication connections to DB-9 and DB-15 connectors. I' looking into the NI 9871E 4-Port, RS485/RS422 Serial Module, but I'm unsure of how to set up the adapter cables such that the components I'm using are powered and are capable of communicating with the cRIO through a DB-X to Ethernet adapter connection.
Needed Pinouts are Power, GND, Component Output-Value, Component Output-Alarm, Component Input-Value.
