Executables and Daq Drivers

Solved!
Go to solution
This is an interesting issue that I hope someone can help me with.

My customer has some code that I need to support.  They have a PCI 1200
card.
My understanding is the Latest driver that will work with this card is
Traditional DAQ 6.9.3.

They have 6.9.3f3

So I made the mistake of upgrading their code from 7.1 to 8.5.  The code
works
on my machine.  When I create an executable the executable works on my
machine;
however when I try to run the executable on their machine the software
starts
and then shuts down.  I don't get any kind of error.  The executable just
won't
run.

I am wondering do I need to create an executable with the the driver
version
6.9.3 on my development machine?

Thanks

Dan

I solved the problem!

I downloaded the 8.5.1 runtime engine off NI's website and installed it on my target machine.  It worked!

Previously I copied the runtime engine from my Product Cache folder on my development machine.
