Hi jfradiqu-
As Mike mentioned, it would be much more convenient to use the existing breadboard if possible. If you must create your own prototyping extension you can use the pinout information here.
Hopefully this helps-

Hi jfradiqu-
I think I misunderstood your earlier question. You basically have a couple of options if you need a "take home" way to work on your circuit. You could check out the NI ELVIS Prototyping Board, NI PN 188429-01. Alternatively, you could just use any external proto board and then build in probe points to wire back to the ELVIS inputs.
Thanks-

Tom,
do you mean by NI ELVIS Prototyping Board, NI PN 188429-01breadboard for ELVIS II or for the old ELVIS?
Does NI provide spare prototyping board for ELVIS II?
Or the same spare prototyping board fits to old ELVIS and to ELVIS II also?
Thank you
Petr

Hello bilik,
Prototyping boards for the NI ELVIS II can be purchased from National Instruments. The part number for a NI ELVIS II prototyping board is 188432-01.
As for the second part of your question, NI ELVIS prototyping boards will work with a NI ELVIS II platform. You will have to make sure that you are using the ELVISmx 4.0 driver for NI ELVIS II, as the traditional driver will not work with NI ELVIS II even when using an NI ELVIS prototyping board.
