If got a PCI card in my PC connected via a SH68-C68-S cable to a TBX-68 DIN-rail mounted connector block. All perfect so far, but the system should evolve from Lab to an industrial application. So I want to place the TBX-68 block on the rail inside an electric control cabinet (and the PC outside). I need some opening for my 1.5mm steel sheet, while mainting my IP54 safety.
So far the workaround I came up with is to get a SHC68-NT-S cable and use wago cage clamp terminal blocks instead of the TBX-68.
Any better solution?
