I am experiencing some issues with a NI PCI-6133 card that I have just installed in my computer. The device is detected and shows up in Measurement & Automation Explorer but it fails the self-test with an "Error -50151". The only reference I can find online says that this error may be caused by the board not being supplied with sufficient power from the PC motherboard. However, I don't think this is the case.
The new 6133 board is supposed to be used to duplicate an existing measurement system. The 6133 card in the original system functions perfectly, no errors and passes the self-test. Switching the original card with the new card (of the same model) causes the 50151 error. Furthermore, the original 6133 card still passes self-test when it is placed in the new computer. Clearly both PC's must be supplying enough power.
Is it possible that the new PCI-6133 card is defective?

For broken hardware issue, I'd recommend calling NI local office directly, Their number could be found in http://www.ni.com/niglobal/.
