Hardware to acquire EEG signals

Hello, mi name is Federico Graciá. I am Electronic Engineer. I am from Argentina.

It is a pleasure to be part of this group.

I have to acquire EEG signals and I am researching which National Instruments HARDWARE can be used for this task.

Are there any National Instruments hardware that is able to amplify and convert analog to digital data? If so, what hardware you recommend me?

If these two tasks can not be performed by a single hardware, what hardware for amplification, and hardware for converting A / D you recommend me?

The basic specs I'm looking for are:

- 8 channels ir more.

- CMRR: 120 - 130 dB

- Gain: 10,000 (ten thousand)

I'll be waiting for your reply.

I apologize for my English.

Thank you very much

Hi there,

NI does not sell any hardware that is capable or approved of doing direct biosignal acquisition.  However, most bioamplifiers have analog outputs that are compatible with NI DAQ hardware to simplify the digitizing and logging of the EEG signals.

Please see our Biomedical User Group and this article in particular about acquiring biosignals with NI hardware:  https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-4670

thanks,

Steve
