How do I set record time of a capture or Write to Measurement file

Hello,

I have been working on this for longer than I should have without asking for help.

I am tiring to record a 10 to 15 sec capture of my data to a Write to Measurement file.

The capture works but I have no idea how to tie in a timer to stop the capture after 10 to 15 Seconds.

Any ideals would greatly help.

I amp using labview 8.6 and a PCI-6220 input card with a SCB-68 input interface.

I have worked out the problem from my earlier post but I am not quite sure how to go about it on this one.

Hey Richard,

I would make use of the elapsed time express VI, the code might look something like the attached VI.

I got it Finally, After looking how simple it was. I was tring to make the Solution hat=rder than it was.

My origional idea had two while loops and two stop button that was my problem.

Works great now.

Next time I will try and not make a simple problem Harder than it is.
