Greetings, I am running Labview 10.0.1 & MAX 4.7.7f0 on Windows 7 PC controlling a PXIe-1073 with a PXI-6509 & PXI-4132 installed.
As a Labview noob, I was trying to test a chip that among other things has a simple counter output. My 1st baby step was to hook my board to the PXI-6509 & try to watch the device count. I have verified the counting bits are wiggling with an oscilloscope.
My approach was to begin by opening MAX> Devices & Interfaces> NI PXIe-1073"Chassis 1">4: NI PXI-6509 "PXI1slot4", <right click> Test Panel .
At this point I get a self test error
In the panel, I am interested in connector pin 32 so I
(1) select port4 to get 4.0.
(2)All Input
Start
At this point it waits for about a minute, then a red & white x appears with a button callled Show Details next to it. When I click this button I get a window that says:
"Error -200324 occurred at Test Panel"
Then there is a message that suggests that both DAQmx & traditional DAQ are running & proposes that I reset.
I read "Common NI-DAQmx Error Codes and Solutions: Codes -200300 to -200999".

It says that I need to reset the Traditional DAQ in MAX. But I don't find this Traditional DAQ selection or section in my installation of MAX.
What am I doing wrong?
