How do you Define a Physical Channel

How do you define (Link) a Physical Channel to a NI USB-6009 device on a Macintosh MacBook Pro MAC OSX?

I have downloaded and installed the latest driver software NI DAQmx Base 3.5

Hi rob546109,

Please see the following info which is from the readme file for DAQmx base 3.5:

DEVICE CONFIGURATION
Any time a new device is added or removed, you should run the following:
/Applications/National Instruments/NI-DAQmx Base/lsdaq.app

Make note of the device name (Dev1 for example) as this is the name you need to specify when creating channels in your program. A device name may change each time a device is added or removed.

Hope that helps.

my customer meets the same problem. He can see his device by lsdaq.app, but he can not define the Physical Channel in LabVIEW.

His devices: 6009 and 6501

LabVIEW 2012

NI-DAQmx Base 3.6.0
