How to configure pci 6143 S-series for acquiring data with analog level triggering?( say at .5v)

I am interested in acquiring voltage signals from a probe.I am using PCI-6143 S-series NIDAQ. My requirement is such that I must acquire voltages only above a certain level.I have tried to use the NIDAQmx triggering task but it fails giving error code -200077. and the description says im allowed select only digital edge triggering.

Please help.

Hi shirsha,

in fact the message you get is proper, as NI 6143 Specifications says that this board supports just digital triggering. You can find list of S series devices which supports analog triggering here: Which S-Series (61xx) Devices Support Analog Triggering?, or you can use some external circuity as analog signal comparison.
