I hould like to measure position from a LS303 encoder, combined with a Analogic/Digital converter and interpolation model EXE610C , from HEIDENHAIN.
My DAQ is the USB-6281. I am using DAQ Assistant to measure the signals, in the counter conectors, group ctr0 and ctr1.
The output frequency from the encoder goes up 50kHz.
Question 1. What configuration should I use from rate and number of points for geting all steps from the encoder? I imagine that 4x50kHz, or 200kHz, hould be enought.
Question 2. Does the signal TTL from encoder serves to use as clock to the counters?
Question 3. If i get repeted measurement steps, how can i solve it, by software processing?
Some one can help me?
Tanks

200 kHz should be enough, normally a rate that is double the value of frequency will work just fine.
Yes I believe a TTL signal can be used to time counters
If you are getting repeated measurment steps try switching the acquisition mode from continuous to N samples.
