How to put out a sine wave signal using "Sine Waveform.vi" and a Write-DAQTask on AO0 Pin of a DAQPad-6016?

How to put out a sine wave signal physically on Pin AO0  (DAQPad-6016) using a DAQTask? Just feeding the output of a "Sine Waveform.vi" to the data input of the AnalogOut DAQTask and setting it to the right channel (AO0) doesn' t seem to work - a real scope doesn't measure anything on that output. I suppose I am thinking too simple...

Please refer to the Analog Output examples that ship with LabVIEW/NI-DAQ (e. g. the Cont Gen Voltage Wfm-Int Clk.vi from \LabVIEW 7.1\examples\daqmx\analog out\Generate Voltage.llb).

Please note that the output update rate of your device is very limited as stated in the specs:

"Max update rate:   300 S/s, system dependent (tested on a Dell Dimension 4550 Pentium [R] 4 CPU 2.4 GHz 512 MB RAM)"
