How to sample continuously at full speed w/ USB-6251

Is it possible to sample data (analog input at 16-bits at 1 MHz) with the USB-6251? I tried data acquisition in LabView Signal Express at this rate, but it could not read the buffer out as fast as I was sampling. It appears to wait until the buffer is full, take its time reading it out, and the repeat. I need to record continuously at 1MS/s without interruption.

Is this a limitation of Signal Express? It appears to work OK with the included DAQmx LabView examples.

Hi Jon,

Have you configured the settings in Signal Express any differently than the LabVIEW Examples? I would pay special attention to the number of Samples to Read and the Rate (Hz) settings.
