I2C usb 6009

I have a problem. My USB 6009 is used to an analog PID controller, digital switch controller and analog voltage controller, and it work fine. But I also have to controll a digital potentiometer via the I2C bus. How can I do this in an easy way?

I am not sure if the USB 6009 meets the hardware requirements for I2C communication but there is no software interface developed for the I2C protocol using an M Series device.  You could spend the time to develop the necessary software for the USB 6009, but I would recommend just getting the USB 8451 which has been developed for I2C communication. And, there is a driver provided with it which takes care of the software as well.
