Installing drivers for a PCMCIA card (DAQCard-A1-16E-4)

I am having problems getting the Drivers for the DAQCard-A1-16E-4.  In device manager the DAQCard is listed under Data Acquisition Devices, but the drivers are not installed.  I have downloaded the following http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/CF7ECCEA4C4CC7DE86257038004D88AE?opendocument&node=132060_US 

and the NIDQ750.zip. That’s the 7.5 version.  I have installed the NI-DAQmx installer by running the autorun.exe program.  If you could please help me with the installation of the drivers I would appreciate it.

That card is not supported by DAQmx. You need to download the traditional NI-DAQ driver here.

I have downloaded this driver, but the card shows no driver information.When opening MAX software, Devices and Interfaces, Traditioanl NI-DAQ (Legacy) Devices, and I right click on my DAQCard-A1-16E-4 to see the cards propertise, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error.

Runtime Error! Program C:\programfiles\National Instruments\MAX\NIMax.exe

abnormal program termination.

Hi IS_Department,

It sounds like the problem you are seeing is not necessarily a problem with your DAQ drivers, but may be that the application crashed.  Have you tried rebooting your computer?  Then open MAX, go to View > Refresh.  Then go to My System > Devices and Interfaces > Traditional (Legacy) Devices > Your Device. 

Can you open a test panel or do anything else with the device?  Does it only crash MAX only when you look at the properties?

If the first steps don't work, give us any information that you think might help to figure out what is going on.
