Invalid Task

IO Trace shows "_invalidTask" for DAQCreateChannel in a build run on a new PC. It does not show the message for the PC used as the development platform, either in VI form or build. The development platform has Labview 2012 f3, and NI-DAQmx Device Driver 15.5.1. The PC showing the 'invalidTask' is running Labview Run-Time 2012 SP1 f9, and NI-DAQmx Device Driver 19.6.

The 'invalidTask' shows up when using the function 'DAQmx Create Channel' with 'physical channels' as input using 'Dev1/ai1', and 'task in' left open. Similar for AO and digital lines.

I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, since the data acquisition does function, retrieving the expected values. Any ideas on how to get rid of the 'invalidTask' message, and if it is actually causing any problems? Any compatibility problems with LV RTE 2012 and DAQmx Device Driver 19.6? I know the development program is only compatible up to 15.5.1, but not sure about the RTE.

Yes, that is a problem.  You should assume the DAQmx compatibility with LabVIEW also applies to the RTE.  So uninstall DAQmx and install the same version you are using for your development.
