In the datasheet for the NI-9205 it says the digital input max is 3.3V, if I have a digital trigger that has a max of 5V will this break the pin or is it 5V compliant?
It does have 30V overvoltage protection, but I wouldn't temp fate. Add in a conversion circuit to lower the logic to LVTTL.
