Hello,

I have purchased a USB Multifunction NI DAQ. I have been using the free trial version of LABVIEW 20. How do I active the LABVIEW software? I have tried registering my NI DAQ on my NI account, but I have not been provided with a software activation license. 

Please direct me on how to do so. Thanks.

Looks like you didn't purchase a LabVIEW license.

 

LabVIEW is just another programming language, it is not necessary to use NI Hardware. DAQmx drivers are available for C#/.Net, Python and even as C dll, so you can use the instrument with other languages. If you're part of the university, you can check if they already have an academic license.
