LVDT & Monometer DAQ software & hardware

I requesting guidance in my search for a data aquisition system.  Our lab conducts product qualification tests on construction materials.  Our typical data collection involves the use of a monometer used to indicate target pressures and dial indicators measuring displacement at the target pressures.

I am interested in either using digital dial indicators connected to the DAQ system or possibly LVDT's.  Can you specify an A to D converter for our manometer?  As an alternative, can you specify a manometer which will work with your hardware & software?

I look forward to yourresponse.

Thank You

Hi Greg!

I would like to ask what voltage ranges you will be acquiring? This is definitely key information to what DAQ board would suite you best because they all have different input voltage ranges. The DAQ board will have an A to D converter on board. You can do a faceted navigation search at NI.com/dataacquisition for a board that meets your specifications. You can take inputs from all devices, and use LabVIEW to display the information in a suitable fashion for you (Scale, knob, Digital display, etc).

As to which monometer to use, I cannot suggest any one specific, but we do have driver support for a few. It really depends on your application and specifications necessary for your project.
