I have a LabView NI-DAQ application compiled under LabView 8.6.
The app was designed for Windows XP, and runs as expected in that environment.
The NI-DAQ drivers used were not legacy, but the current NI-DAQ 8.6 drivers.
Do I need to re-compile under a later version for my app to function properly under Windows 7?
Or install newer run-time libraries, while still using the older executable?
Or can I just use my 8.6 app installer as-is?
(If I need to re-compile, there may be minor code changes required.
But more importantly, I may need to re-validate my software through an external service)

Hi Eris,
According to this KB, Windows Version Compatibility with LabVIEW, 8.6.x has been verified to support up to Windows Vista. However, it is very likely that you can use your existing install on Windows 7 without any problems. If you do, please post the details.
