Labview 7.0 doesn't see pmd1208ls after instacal run

Everything works with measurement computing's applications, tracerdaq, etc. but I can't get Labview to see the device. USB

What do you mean 'see it'? Doesn't measurement computing provide a set of VIs that you can use? If you are using them and have a problem, then provide a few more details on what error (if any) is occuring. There are some LabVIEW users of these devices that might be able to help. For that matter, measurement computing should be able to help you as well.

I am not exactly sure how this product should work with LabVIEW 7.0, but for LabVIEW 8.0 Measurement Computing™ should provide you with their DAQ driver, which is called InstaCal™. The driver installs a configuration utility, also called InstaCal™, where you can select your board. Once you install the driver, you need to download the Universal Library ™ version 7.11a for LabVIEW 8.0. Measurement Computing™ should be able to provide you with the Universal Library ™, which I believe is available for download from their ftp server.

Yes, I ran Instacal and that software displayed and sucessfully tested the board. When I bring up Labview measurement and automation program, it still doesn't list the pmd1208 in available devices. I can not add a new device sinced it doesn't have a driver for a usb device.  It is as if there is no device present.

You are not supposed to be able to see a non-NI device in the National Instruments Measurement & Automation Explorer configuration utility program. If it shows up in Measurement Computing's configuration utility program, then it has been installed in windows and you can use the VIs provided by Measurement Computing.
