Labview6.1 --> Nidaq6.3 = DAQ solution disappeared

I have Labview Pro Develop version 6.1. After installing all works correctlt and MAX gives NIDAQ version 6.2f3. The problem starts in upgrading the NIDAQ driver to the version 6.3 (i need to do it cause the PCI-6014 looks like to not be recognized by NIDAQ 6.2). After the upgrade the DAQ solution in the main panel is greyed and also help and files related are deleted (also NIDAQ.dll file). There is some workaround to solve it?

I make one assumption the when you are referencing the versions of NI-DAQ 6.2 & 6.3, that you mean 6.9.2 and 6.9.3 since we skipped from 6.1 to 6.5 and those are both fairly old drivers.

With that assumption, when you update a version of NI-DAQ you want to make sure you specify that you want support for your version of LabVIEW. You can check this by clicking (Add/Remove or Change) in Windows Add/Remove Programs and view the feature tree. Here you will notice there is an option for LabVIEW 6.1 support. Make sure this item is marked to be installed on your hardrive. This will enable all you DAQ related functions in LabVIEW.

The assumption was perfectly correct (6.9.2 and 6.9.3), but i already installed the program as you suggest and the support for LV6.1 was selected. One time I also tried to install all the support for all the programs without any result.
Another hint: During the upgrading the entire directory labview6.1\vi.lib\DAQ is deleted (within the lvdaq.dll) and this is the real reason for no more daq functionality.
Any other suggestion ?

I re-check the upgrade procedure for NIDAQ6.9.3. I followed step-by-step the national read-me procedure (NIDAQ driver and LV6.1 support).
In the installation tree the system select automatically DAQ driver support and LV6.1 support, but if i click on the details of LV6.1 support there is written that there will be installed 0.00 Kb. So it seems that there is some problem in the installation procedure.
Maybe can be some problem due the language of OS (winXP italian)?
