Low frequency generation 4461

Hi,

I need to develop two frequency response analysis

1. From 1Hz to 700 Hz (I have implemented it with pxi 4461)

2. From 0.1 Hz to 700 Hz. Here the problem comes, I could not generate signals less than 1 Hz using 4461, but I could generate the low frequency signals with daq pxi-6229. I also tried with NI MAX test panels.

How could we identify the lowest frequency, 4461 can generate? Is there any possible way to generate the lowest frequency signals?

Can I generate the signal using 6229, and acquire the signal through 4461?

Your DAQ cards can generate DC outputs, so anything from DC to half the samplerate should be possible 😉

Take a look at the shipped examples:

Voltage (non-regeneration) - Continous Output.vi

I used a similar approach to generate frequencies down to 25mHz with a USB 6281 and other cards

KRISS...kr?? 🙂

Hi,

I am able to generate the low frequency sine wave with a frequency of 0.1 Hz. But there is a small glitch in the positive half cycle. I tried it with both 4461 and 6229.but same result. The waveform looks like the following picture   I tried to generate the same waveform with 6229 test panel. There was no distortion. code and response are as follows:

How could i rectify the problem? please respond
