I use a single M-Series PCI-628x.
I can read an encoder and get the position from one of the counters.
In addition I will aquire n-Channel AI. I will aquire m samples either through Finite Samples or (prefered) Continous aquisition.
Now I want to get the exact position for each (m) reading of my n-AI channels. How to syncronize the counter task with my AI task? Obviously the counter task should count with the 20MHz clock, so sharing a clock like I'd do to sync AI, AO and DI tasks wouldn't be the way. How can I just get the value of the counter at the same moment as I measure my n channels?
